One thing I think I did really well was tell them what they want to do with their life.

An element of persuasive speech that I used was statistics

One thing to work on for next time is to not mumble when I’m talking to the audience.

LEFT BEhIND AT THE BEACH

Left behind on the beach:

Two small sandcastles that were stepped on

And sandcastles being washed away slowly

buckets waiting to be used.

Left behind on the beach:

A family playing rugby and stepping to get their goal.

And loud,barking dogs on their leashes

barking loudly at people.

Left behind on the beach:

Pieces of slimy, green seaweed

washing up on shore

And pieces of rubbish

floating out sea.

Two massive waves

crashing together and

flying fish jumping

out of the water.

My Eastern Beach Recount - Katarake

Eastern Beach Recount

Slap! Went the paddle as I kept on paddling. We all had to make a group so that we could listen to what Ms Kirkpatrick had to say. After she had told us what to do we played a game of tiggy. We had to put our paddles up so others can help us get free.

After that we had to make another raft so that we could walk on the boats, It was hard for DeLorne and that but for Teagan and I it was really easy. The group and I played tag after and it was fun. Now we have to get out of the water so that another group can have their turn, we raced to shore. Kurplop! Waitama was the fastest one there. It was a one hour of fun on the kayak.

Now it’s time to swim, it was an extremely awesome fun day at the kayaks, I hope we go there again next year.

Netbook Reflections

Hi my name is Katarake and I am a year 7 student at Panmure Bridge School and my class is room 6.

The netbook are really fun to use because the teachers can check your work whenever they need to.  They can help you on doing the activities the teachers sets you on Studyladder. They can really help you to type faster by using tux typing.

The negative thing about the netbooks is that some people might play games on it and that they might be on chat talking to each other.

The unusual thing about the Netbooks is that the shortcuts and the writing for it is different.

Kata's amazing holiday recount

My Amazing Holiday

Yippee, we sped to our aunties house. When we got there we watched a great T.V. show.  After that we played Resistance on PS3.

Next we ate McDonald's, cookies and fizzy drinks they were delicious! I was full and I wanted to play at the backyard on the bikes. We were having fun playing on the bikes.

After a while I got bored, so I went to back to play on the X-box 360 with my cousin, Soloni, and brother, Christopher. There was excitement in the air as my car sped off the track on Apocolypse.      

I had such a lot of fun going to my aunties house. It was great, I didn’t want to go home.
