Reflections on When The Wind Blows

When The Wind Blows

I thought this story was sad because everyone died in the story.

The Labour herald said “This book deserves a very wide audience and should be compulsory reading.” Yes, because the pictures begin from darker to brighter.

The Guardian said “it is meant to break your heart to some purpose” I think that it is sad because James and Hilda were sick and they died.

Left behind on the beach

LEFT BEhIND AT THE BEACH

Left behind on the beach:
Two small sandcastles that were stepped on
And sandcastles being washed away slowly
buckets waiting to be used.

Left behind on the beach:
A family playing rugby and stepping to get their goal.
And loud, barking dogs on their leashes
barking loudly at people.

Left behind on the beach:
Pieces of slimy, green seaweed
washing up on shore
And pieces of rubbish
floating out sea.

Left behind on the beach:
Two massive waves
crashing together and
flying fish jumping
out of the water.
